The WA Tourism Conference has been a gathering for tourism industry representatives from throughout Western Australia in its current format since 2015. The conference brings together delegates from all areas of the tourism sector, including tourism operators; national, state and local government leaders; industry leaders in marketing, events, attractions, aviation and accommodation; and tourism researchers, academics and students.

The event is jointly presented by Tourism Council WA, Visitor Centres WA, Caravan & Camping WA, WAITOC, FACET and Australia's Coral Coast, and is supported by Tourism Western Australia and Shire of Carnarvon.

The 2026 WA Tourism Conference will be held in Carnarvon from 25 to 27 May 2026 and will provide delegates with unrivalled opportunities for professional and business development, networking and engagement with industry colleagues, and the chance to hear from industry-leading speakers on critical industry issues and innovative ideas.

Registration includes:

  • Full conference attendance across all scheduled sessions, including Monday, 25 May 2026 for Visitor Centre delegates

  • Optional workshops and activities on Monday 25 May 2026

  • Welcome & Networking Event – Quobba Station, Monday 25 May 2026

  • Conference Dinner & Tourism Awards – Secret Location, Tuesday 26 May 2026

  • Carnarvon famil, Wednesday 27 May 2026

  • Closing Ceremony – Carnarvon Heritage Precinct, Jetty to the Stars, Wednesday 27 May 2026

Delegates purchasing registration only will need to make their own arrangements for travel to and from Carnarvon and accommodation. For all booking enquiries contact the Carnarvon Visitor Centre on (08) 9941 1146. 

Terms and Conditions: 

By registering for this event, you agree to the following booking conditions.

For the member rate, delegate must be a current employee of a current financial member of TCWA, Caravan & Camping WA, VCWA, WAITOC or was a financial member of FACET before 30 November 2025. 

Prices are inclusive of GST. Payment can be made via credit card at time of registration or via invoice. Payment must be received prior to the event to confirm registration.

You agree for your information to be shared with event partners at the discretion of TCWA.

Cancellation Policy: If minimum numbers are not met, you will receive notification of the cancelled event/activity and your payment will be reimbursed. Any cancellations made within 7 working days of the scheduled event will not be refunded, transferred or credited, however name changes will be accepted. Cancellations or name changes must be made in writing. 

Dietary Disclaimer: 

Any dietary requirements that aren’t provided ahead of time may not be catered for. While event organisers will endeavour to cater for all dietary requirements, they cannot completely guarantee allergy-free meals due to the potential of trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients. Please also note that we do not cater for lifestyle choices and food preferences (e.g. keto, no fruit etc.).
